Boundless happiness for skin, mind and heart!!

Hello my dear readers and viewers!!!

How are you all? Hope you all are doing fine. I am super excited to announce that I was blessed with a baby boy this May 30th. I was unable to write posts as I had to take care of my lil one :)
Now that I am back on my feet, I have started to write posts!! And I promise you that I would be in regular touch with you through my posts. Ha ha :) Thank you for all your wishes and prayers :) I will post a photo of my baby and introduce him to you ;)

Ok, so lets get started. When I returned to home from the hospital, I found my hands and feet tanned and covered with dirt. I was so shocked that I felt my eyes deceived me for a moment. With a heavy heart, I accepted the fact that my hands and feet were indeed tanned and dirty. Having accepted the fact made me to search a solution for it.

The very first thing I wanted to do was clean my hands with a cleanser. I noticed that I had run out of cleanser and so decided to prepare a home made cleanser with available items in my kitchen. And guess what?? The results were astonishing!!I wanted to share this amazing D.I.Y cleanser which does not even take more than 10 minutes for preparing. Here we go!!

All you need for this is

1.  Two moderate chunks of aloevera

2. A glass of milk

3. Three to four fresh roses

4. One full cucumber

5. A pinch of cornflour to hold the mixture together.

Extract the gel from the aloevera and keep it aside. Incase you have missed out my previous post on tips to make aloevera gel more effective, follow http://beautyisskindee.blogspot.in/2014/03/diy-suncreens.html which gives you a basic idea about it  Remove the petals from the roses and keep them along with the sliced cucumber. For the cleanser to be more effective, you can also soak the rose petals in a jar of water before one day so that the petals absorb the water and tend to become more aromatic. You can add the water in the jar along with the petals to retain the essence. Mix the gel, petals, cucumber in a mixer jar and grind it till it becomes into a smooth paste. Add milk to the paste for every two minutes and grind it once again till the milk gets mixed with the paste and turns out into a lotion. If you have taken more milk, then you can add a pinch of cornflour to make the paste thicker.

Remove the paste from the mixer jar and keep it aside for 20 min. You can also refrigerate it if you want your lotion to be more thicker. Take a cotton or a soft cloth and gently rub your skin with the lotion. You can watch the dirt peeling off from your skin without any irritation or itching on your skin!!!

You can also use this as a face pack by mixing two table spoons of besan gram to it!! Awesome, isn't it??So try it out and I am pretty sure that you will love this timeless preparation which does not even take more than 20 min.

Do share your experiences with me and don't forget to share it :)
Meet you in next post, Until then, take care :)
