D.I.Y bleach packs

Hello everybody!!

How are you?? Its been so long since I have written posts. It's because I have successfully stepped into the 9th month of my pregnancy!! Yay!! But pregnancy does has its own ups and downs. Maintaining health and self is of great concern during this high crucial time. So I took a long long vacation and started having my last pre-natal yoga classes :):) Meanwhile, I had also been concentrating on home made bleach packs. Ever since I discovered my own bleach pack, I am hyper excited to share this secret with you people. So let's begin beauties!!

In one of my posts, I mentioned about D.I.Y sunscreens that you can easily prepare at home within minutes. A small tinge of modification to the sun screener and viola!! You will have a beautiful soothing bleach pack in your hands. For those who have missed reading my D.I.Y sunscreens, you can follow this link to get to know more about it. http://beautyisskindee.blogspot.in/2014/03/diy-suncreens.html

So lets see the needed ingredients for this bleach pack.

1. Two freshly cut aloevera chunks. (See to that it contains more pulp).

2. Turmeric

3. Lemon

4. Sandal powder or paste. (Any sandal. Even red sandal would work).

You might be wondering that the sun screen and the bleach pack are having almost the same ingredients. That's the miracle of nature. One product, multiple benefits!! So let's move for the preparation part.

Method:

1. Mix the aloevera pulp, and one full cup of turmeric in a bowl and keep it aside for half an hour or so. See to that the pulp completely absorbs turmeric and turns into a yellow paste. If it does not turn yellow in color, then add more turmeric to it. Also see to that the stickiness of the pulp is reduced. To get rid of the stickiness, keep this mixture in refrigerator for half an hour.

2.  Once you notice the yellow color, add half a cup of turmeric powder or paste to it. Adding turmeric paste will make the pulp thicker and rich in texture. If you have turmeric powder, mix two table spoons of water to it in a separate bowl and make it into a thick paste. You can also add 3/4 cup of sandal wood paste. The more you add, the richer the result.

3. Mix it thoroughly and add 1/4th cup of freshly squeezed lemon drops to the paste. Adding lemon to the paste in a greater quantity does not affect your skin as the sandal wood acts as a coolant and prevents your body from the itching sensation caused by the lemon.

Apply this mixture to your hands and leave it on for 15 minutes. Since this is a home made pack, it will take some time to show the result, but once it starts to show the results, you will be surprised to see that this result lasts longer than that of a salon. You do not even need activators as this is purely a herbal bleach and has its own activators!!

Another added benefit is that this bleach pack not only removes tan , but also removes unwanted hair on your skin. You can also apply this on your face.

So that's it for today my dears. Apply this pack and let me know how it turned out for you. Share your experiences. Also, feel free to share any suggestions or modifications. Share this and repost it so that it reaches everyone. After all, sharing is fun right!! See you in next post. until then, tale care:)
